SOA in Action Virtual Conference October 30 & 31, 2007
Conference Mission
SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) has the potential to fundamentally change the way IT plans, builds and manages systems. SOA makes it easier to change and reconfigure IT systems, leverage and repurpose existing IT investments, and enable systems to be more closely aligned with the business processes of the organization. The goal of SOA is to enable companies to become more agile at adapting to market opportunities and changes, and achieve competitive advantage as a result.
SOA success requires new kinds of skills, roles, people, organizational structures and methodologies. It fundamentally changes the way IT operates. To successfully reap the rewards of SOA, companies need to quickly move beyond the hype, and understand what it takes to plan, build and manage SOA solutions in their enterprise. The goal of the SOA in Action: Plan It, Build It, Manage It Virtual Conference is to provide organizations with real-world actionable advice and best practices in implementing their SOA solutions.
Event Overview
The two-day live event will feature leading industry experts as well as companies that have successfully implemented SOA solutions. It will help attendees understand the benefits SOA offers to the organization, as well as best practices for planning, implementing and managing SOA.
