SOA is fast becoming the architecture of choice for enterprises of all sizes. According to numerous ebizQ polls and surveys, most organizations are still in the early stages of adoption, but nearly all of them are doing something. Executives are lured by the tremendous promise of SOA: to facilitate greater business agility, to enable the reuse of existing assets for new solutions, and, above all, to lower IT costs. All these are possible if leaders avoid the common obstacles to success: poor evaluation of organizational process, lack of personnel, poor training, and insufficient infrastructure requirements.

This conference will teach business leaders what to expect, and what to avoid, to make their SOA journey a success. SOA is a long journey, not a single project, and distributed architectures are inherently complex. Success requires new ways of working, creating more efficient cross organization processes, adopting new tools, and building new skills.
