Beth Gold-Bernstein is a recognized expert in e-business integration technologies and technical architectures. She has worked with financial institutions, retail chains and manufacturers on planning, designing and implementing large scale distributed systems. Gold-Bernstein has also written numerous articles for a variety of publications, including EAI Journal, Application Development Trends, Intelligent Enterprise, IMWA and Middleware Spectre. She has been a judge of Information Week's e-100 awards and the Real Awards for Enterprise Integration Solution, and speaks nationally and internationally at conferences and seminars.
Prior to joining ebizQ, Gold-Bernstein was the director of business integration technologies at Hurwitz Group. Previously, she was president of IllumiSys Corp. and director of architecture planning and implementation advisory services for DeBoever Architectures.
Gold-Bernstein holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an M.S. in computer information systems from Bentley College. She was also the founder and director of the Boston Computer Society Client/Server Group. Her book, Designing Enterprise Client/Server Systems, was published by Prentice Hall in August 1997. Before her role as an analyst, Wise served as a business analyst for Toyota Canada, Inc. where she worked on business intelligence and data warehousing solution implementations across the organization affecting finance, distribution, after sales operations, inventory control, etc. She has also has worked on major IT migration projects in systems analysis and design for the Ontario government's financial and property management legacy systems. She has a degree in information technology management from Ryerson Polytechnic University, Toronto, Ontario.
Derek Miers is a well-known independent industry analyst and technology strategist. He is CEO of BPM Focus (www.bpmfocus.org), and provides BPM training and consulting to organizations around the world. As Co-Chairman of BPMI.org, he helped merge the organization with the OMG and sits on the BPM Steering Committee of the OMG.
Over the years, he has carried out a wide range of consulting roles including running hundreds of training courses (in business and process modeling techniques), undertaking detailed technology selection assessments and project-risk assessment studies.

Previously, he held the position of Senior Director of Global Product Marketing and Chief Software Architect at Software AG, a $2B independent software vendor in the database, application development and application integration markets. Prior to Software AG, J.T. was Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of SingleShop, an Internet E-Commerce startup, responsible for the development and support of the company's innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) E-Commerce products. J.T. is a decorated veteran of the US Army.
