Yes, tomorrow is the day the learning begins -- ebizQ's SOA in Action conference. I'll be moderating a couple of sessions at this week's "SOA in Action" conference, which starts tomorrow and lasts through Thursday. Elizabeth Book observed that I'm 'almost inexplicably' cool about moderating the panels, but that's because it's going to be a lot of fun. And, among other industry luminaries, Elizabeth notes that Dave Chappell of Progress Software, the guy who wrote the book on ESBs, is leading a panel discussion on ESBs. (And I thought "Enterprise Service Buses" were those things that took you around the Microsoft Redmond campus.) Other luminaries joining us include Gartner's Roy Schulte, Forrester's Ken Vollmer, and ebizQ's Beth Gold-Bernstein. On Wednesday, I'll be joining Jim Garcia of Enporion and Jared Rodriguez of Skyway Software in a discussion of how Enporion was able to employ an incremental approach to build an SOA that made its services accessible to outside partners. Then on Thursday, I'll be joining Software AG's John Fitzgerald for a presentation on "Managing the SOA Lifecycle." We hope to see you there!
