| REPLAY NOW
|
Companies pass
through four stages as they adopt SOA, from experimentation
through widespread use. At each stage, different issues arise
and must be conquered. This presentation will present
problem-solving approaches that will help mainstream enterprises
succeed at each stage of SOA maturity. Issues discussed will
include:
-
Where to use each
of the three mutually-exclusive and collectively-exhaustive
styles of SOA
-
How to understand
the role of an ESB and select the right category of SOA
Infrastructure
-
When to insist on
sharing services and data, and where to accept
partially-overlapping SOA portfolios
-
How to deal with
heterogeneity in a "vertical" software stack and "horizontal"
co-existing integration backbones
-
Whether to
install an Integration Competency Center, a SOA Center of
Excellence or both
-
When to use
event-driven architecture (EDA) and when to use interactive SOA
